"Southwest Santas" are done using the natural tones of the wood. They are sealed, then stained for
a warm finish with acrylics. I feel the wood tones enhance the soft, gentle feel of the Santa. In keeping
the Southwest feel he is holding either a papoose or wedding vase (I have also used a teddy bear) as well as the carved staff.
